But after a trio of failed drug tests one month before the fight Miller saw his heavyweight golden ticket ripped up – leaving replacement Andy Ruiz Jr to cash in and shock the world.

Reflecting on the failed tests “Big Baby” told TMZ Sports his fight purse for the first bout and potential rematch would have pocketed him £24million.

He said: “Ah man at least – we talking about the first fight was 7.5 m’s and the rematch if I knocked him out was a minimum of 15 to 20 so at least 30 mill by the end of the year.

“I’m from Brooklyn, do you know how many cheeseburgers that was just now I could’ve bought?

“But like I said, I never got into sport because of money and I feel if I do it in the right way this time I’ll be back there.

“The heavyweight division is right open, there’s a lot of opportunities and routes to go.”

After the failed test came to surface Miller faced backlash from the boxing public, including promoter Eddie Hearn, who offered him the life-changing fight.

It wasn’t three drug tests, it was two drug tests. The first drug test was the one I originally failed, it was GW1516 that we knew came from a tainted supplement.

But Miller – who is serving a six-month ban– insists the first failed test, for GW1516 and then anabolic steroid EPO and human growth hormone, came from a “tainted supplement” and treatment for an injured elbow.

The heavyweight also revealed he pushed for a second test, in a bid to prove his innocence, and was shocked with the failed EPO test.

Miller told Fight Hub TV: “It wasn’t three drug tests, it was two drug tests. The first drug test was the one I originally failed, it was GW1516 that we knew came from a tainted supplement.

“We’re still figuring out [which supplement it came from] because it’s in the labs right now. The crazy part about it was when I failed that, I was the one that asked to get the second drug test.

“They said ‘Oh no, there’s no reason to because you failed the first one, the fight is already out the window’.

“I said ‘No, I still wanna get drug test’. When they drug test me for the second one, that’s when the HGH and [EPO came out] — so I’m the one that shot myself in the foot.

“It’s when the second drug test came out, that’s HGH and EPO came out, which was a proprietary blend for the symptoms for my elbow.

“That started, that was only one shot. It was a new proprietary blend and that only happened maybe like four days before I got tested. That was the first time I tried it for my elbow.

“I’ve got no reason to lie. HGH is for helping you lose weight, have I ever lost any weight in any one of my fights other than 10-15 pounds? Does it look like I wanna lose weight? No.”
